This summer has already given music fans an introspective downer (“See You Again”) and some fun-in-the-sun froth (“Cheerleader”), but what about a song that hits both those emotional sweet spots? Enter Carly Rae Jepsen, who just released the video for “Run Away With Me,” the latest single from her (aptly titled) forthcoming album E•MO•TION.

“Run Away With Me” marries euphoric Swedish dance-pop with a pressing nostalgia for your teenage years, a time when the littlest crushes felt like time bombs and a time Jepsen is really, really, really skilled at evoking. In that sense, it’s “Teenage Dream 2.0,” right down to a bridge so catchy she has to repeat it twice—not that Jepsen needs such hype at this point. Between “All That,” “Run Away With Me” and the rest of E•MO•TION that’s floating around online (the album already came out in Japan, weirdly), Carly Rae Jepsen has the current frontrunner for pop album of the year.
