The men, together for 54 years, [were the first same-sex couple](http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Dallas-County-Prepares-for-Same-Sex-Marriage-Ruling-310043781.html) to wed today in Dallas County. Their nuptials came just hours after the Supreme Court’s [landmark decision](http://www.people.com/article/supreme-court-rules-gay-couples-have-right-to-marry) enabling gay couples to marry in all 50 states.
