[00:03] In his first adorable act of public duty, baby Prince [00:06] George joined his parents and several other families [00:09] for group play date in New Zealand, Wednesday. Eight [00:11] month old George, Prince William, and Duchess Kate of [00:14] Cambridge, that's her holding the infant, met 10 other [00:17] families at Wellington's government house. The [00:19] massive playdate was organized by Plunkett. A local [00:22] organization that provides health care and support for [00:24] new parents. As NBC reports the ten lucky kids who [00:28] got to play with the future king were all around the [00:30] same age and come from a range of households. [00:32] Including single mothers and gay parents. According [00:35] the the reporters and photographers present at the [00:37] event. The little prince looked like he was having a [00:39] blast with his new friends, and he was certainly one of [00:42] the best dressed too. He wore a simple white T- shirt [00:45] under a $ 129 Rachel Riley dungarees with a sailboat [00:49] on the front. George seemed to love all the toys set out [00:52] for the group and people noted, one onlooker [00:54] quipped, he was quite a bruiser while playing with the [00:56] other kids. And he definitely looked tuckered out by [00:59] the time the event was over. But the adorable play [01:01] date was just the beginning of the royal family's [01:04] engagements in the area. They're currently spending [01:06] three weeks touring New Zealand and Australia to [01:08] make several public appearances together. Thanks for [01:11] watching. I'm Elizabeth Hagedorn. ```json [{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"NewsArticle","@id":"https://time.com/3921887/lego-cambridge-professor/","mainEntityOfPage":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://time.com/3921887/lego-cambridge-professor/"},"headline":"A LEGO Professorship Has Been Proposed at Cambridge","datePublished":"2015-06-16T14:44:19.000Z","dateModified":"2026-08-04T07:43:40.147Z","description":"Is a major in LEGO next?","url":"https://time.com/3921887/lego-cambridge-professor/","keywords":["Newsfeed","World"],"thumbnailUrl":"https://static.time.com/v3/assets/bltea6093859af6183b/blt22a54642426fb588/698854af2dce0103c79e4310/gettyimages-491780933.jpg?branch=production&width=1200&quality=75&auto=webp&crop=1200:675&height=675","author":[{"@type":"Person","name":"Olivia B.
