Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky are officially reuniting.

[Lori Loughlin](http://www.people.com/people/news/category/0,,personsTax:LoriLoughlin,00.html) will be part of the upcoming [_Full House_ spin-off](http://www.people.com/article/full-house-new-series-spinoff-john-stamos-candace-cameron-netflix) _Fuller House_, premiering next year on Netflix.

Loughlin, 50, tells PEOPLE she will do the reunion episode and is eager to reunite with her former cast mates and [longtime friends](http://www.people.com/article/full-house-reboot-fuller-house-characters-lives-now-cast-reunion). “Doing that show was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had,” she says. “It was just so much fun.”

And she hopes that the spin-off will satisfy fans of the original. “I think with Jeff Franklin at the helm – he’s the creator of _Full House_ – it’s hard to go wrong because nobody’s more protective of that show than he is,” she says. “That’s his baby.”

_Fuller House_ will star [Candace Cameron Bure](http://www.people.com/article/full-house-candace-cameron-bure-andrea-barber-netflix-fuller-house) as D.J., a newly widowed mom raising her children in the house she grew up in with her sister Stephanie ([Jodie Sweetin](http://www.ew.com/article/2015/04/22/jodie-sweetin-full-house-spinoff-almost-too-good-be-true)) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).
