[ FOREIGN ] He matches gay men to lesbian women for marriage. [ FOREIGN ] It's a crazy idea. I don't know where he come from. The idea is to provide a way for religious gay people to live their lives according to Jewish law. It's not a perfect resolution. But to some, [ INAUDIBLE ] problems. They have children, nobody knows of them. They're a part of a religious community. And they have a social life. In the past, most gay religious men would marry straight women, and hide their sexual orientation. Horrell believes the relationship is healthier if both spouses are in on the secret. And he matches them with the belief that they will remain faithful to each other. [ FOREIGN ] [ SOUND ] The idea of a cover up marriage is controversial, and not everyone agrees with it. To me personally, I don't really consider this an option. I know who I'm in love with. I know who I'm attracted to. I don't feel that living a gay life, I necessarily miss out on things that a straight relationship would offer. Avi is an orthodox attorney, who lives in Jerusalem. Only his closest friends know he is gay. While he doesn't condemn the rabbi's gay to lesbian marriages, he doesn't think most people will be able to stomach living a lie. If a person feels that he can live this life, obviously this is more in accordance with Jewish law. But I think that there are those who, you know, won't be able to make it through a day of living with a woman, and living in what, to them, what to me, will seem like a false marriage. It's not the solution for everyone. It doesn't fit to every person. It fit to very specific people who wants this solution and looking for this solution. Ameet a closeted homosexual who runs an orthodox gay organization, is helping Harell expand his matchmaking service. He considers himself 100 % gay. But says some men are less gay, and those men are capable of remaining faithful to a woman. The matchmaking service he says, is set up to help those people. We believe that there are people who can change, and there are people who can't change, and when I say, when things change, I don't mean 180 degrees, but you can enough change" to marry a woman and to be loyal to this woman ." I don't think it's healthy or losing any kind of way to the kids. And, and to the and to the parents as well. Daniel Jonas is the spokesman for the orthodox gay organization Havel Tov. Being gay, it's not necessarily something that goes against two religion. Jonas thinks loveless marriages could lead to a dysfunctional family life. If the parents don't love each other If they don't truly live together, the kids will feel it. No matter if you're gay or not. But, if you're there without love, the kids will know it. What will happen to the children? The biggest child the first couple is for is know we can't know until we try. [ INAUDIBLE ] err full of [ INAUDIBLE ] Horel has been doing these matches on his own for the past six years. But in September, he plans to unveil a larger match making service, which will be online Individuals will make what Harell calls a symbolic payment of 150 shekels, about $ 42, to subscribe. If a match is made, the bride and groom would each pay 430 dollars. Most of them are very happy. They have children. They have what they want from their life. They live together. Kind of a family. Kind of kind of a couple. It's not an ordinary family, but it's, I think. None of the 12 couples Herell has married would agree to an on camera interview. But one of the married men admitted to me, that in his two and a half years of marriage, he has cheated three times. Herell says infidelity can happen in any marriage, including gay to lesbian ones. If you want to go somewhere with another man, she wants to go do it with another woman, and they will not do it. I don't accept it from the point of view of the the heart.
