The Social Security Administration released on Friday its annual list of the country’s ten most popular baby names for boys and girls. James, a popular choice in the 1940s and ’50s, returned to the top 10 after missing out for several years. And Charlotte, ranked #10, made it to the list of top names for the first time ever (and the name is likely to stay there, thanks to the new arrival of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.) There’s even a newborn baby monkey named Charlotte at a zoo in Japan, although zookeepers are [considering a name change](http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2015/05/07/404895129/zoo-in-japan-reconsiders-charlotte-for-name-of-newborn-monkey "undefined"). to avoid offending the British Royal Family.
