After impressing moviegoers with Kingsman: The Secret Service, Matthew Vaughn is reportedly in talks to direct Flash Gordon.
Twentieth Century Fox has been planning a film adaptation of the popular comic strip for a year, and was one of many studios whose heads were turned by Vaughn after Kingsman’s successful debut, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The superhero Flash Gordon, drawn by Alex Raymond, originally appeared in 1934.
