Kevin Hart will be honored with the Comedic Genius Awards at the MTV Movie Awards next month, MTV announced on Monday, not-so-coincidentally just a few days after Get Hard premiered in theaters.
Hart made the announcement in a less-than-bashful video in which he brags about being the “funniest man alive” to a third-grade nemesis who doesn’t seem to agree with MTV’s definition of “comedic genius.”
The MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Amy Schumer, air April 12 at 8 p.m. ET.
