We got Bruce Jenner will be here doing some musical performances. [ APPLAUSE ] He's doing a his and her duet all by himself. That awkward, nearly silent response probably wasn't exactly what Foxx was hoping to get from the audience there. And it got even worse as soon as he added this. I'm just busting your balls. While I still can. Give it up! As you probably already guessed, viewers on social media were anything but pleased with Foxx's comments, with some even accusing the actor of transphobia. And, even worse, Jenner's youngest daughter Kylie was scheduled to make an appearance at the show, though it's unclear if she showed up. Of course, Jenner has yet to comment on the alleged gender transition. But he will reportedly address it on this season's of his family's reality show keeping up with the Kardashians. As of late Sunday night, there's been no comment from Fox, iHeart media, and Jenner. ```json [{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"NewsArticle","@id":"https://time.com/3763111/jamie-foxx-transphobic-bruce-jenner/","mainEntityOfPage":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://time.com/3763111/jamie-foxx-transphobic-bruce-jenner/"},"headline":"Jamie Foxx Blasted for 'Transphobic' Bruce Jenner Jokes","datePublished":"2015-03-30T12:23:27.000Z","dateModified":"2026-10-01T09:07:39.451Z","description":"Foxx was hosting the iHeartRadio Music Awards","url":"https://time.com/3763111/jamie-foxx-transphobic-bruce-jenner/","keywords":["Newsfeed","viral","twitter","entertainment","Bruce Jenner"],"thumbnailUrl":"https://static.time.com/v3/assets/bltea6093859af6183b/blt7cf1a7083bd19bbe/698785b85f570f4fc4b15fbc/468110550.jpg?branch=production&width=1200&quality=75&auto=webp&crop=1200:675&height=675","author":[{"@type":"Person","name":"Laura Stampler","jobTitle":null,"url":"https://time.com/author/laura-stampler/"}],"articleSection":"","image":[{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://static.time.com/v3/assets/bltea6093859af6183b/blt7cf1a7083bd19bbe/698785b85f570f4fc4b15fbc/468110550.jpg?branch=production&width=1200&quality=75&auto=webp&crop=1200:675&height=675","width":1200,"height":675,"headline":"468110550","caption":"attends the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards - press room held at The Shrine Auditorium on March 29, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.","creditText":"Michael Tran—2015 Michael Tran","representativeOfPage":true}],"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Time","url":"https://time.com/","logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://time.com/images/logo.png","width":528,"height":156},"foundingDate":"March 3, 1923","sameAs":["https://www.facebook.com/time","https://www.instagram.com/time/?hl=en","https://twitter.com/time","https://www.pinterest.com/timemagazine"]}},{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@id":"/tag/time-section-newsfeed/","name":"Newsfeed"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@id":"https://time.com/3763111/jamie-foxx-transphobic-bruce-jenner/","name":"Jamie Foxx Blasted for 'Transphobic' Bruce Jenner Jokes"}}]},{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"VideoObject","name":"Jamie Foxx Under Fire For 'Transphobic' Bruce Jenner Jokes","description":"Jamie Foxx is in hot water after making a joke about Bruce Jenner's alleged transition into a woman at the iHeartRadio Music Awards Sunday night.","thumbnailUrl":"https://cdn.jwplayer.com/v2/media/muDcfwz0/poster.jpg?width=720","uploadDate":"2015-03-30T13:35:26.000Z","contentUrl":"https://cdn.jwplayer.com/manifests/muDcfwz0.m3u8","embedUrl":"https://time.com/3763111/jamie-foxx-transphobic-bruce-jenner/","duration":"PT1M5S","potentialAction":{"@type":"SeekToAction","target":"https://time.com/3763111/jamie-foxx-transphobic-bruce-jenner/?jw_start={seek_to_second_number}","startOffset-input":"required name=seek_to_second_number"}}] ```
