Take this news with a grain of food-grade salt, but according to [Burger King Japan](http://greatideas.people.com/2014/09/11/burger-king-japan-black-bun-cheese/), the fast food giant is [releasing](http://kotaku.com/burger-king-perfume-coming-to-japan-apparently-1692097873) a Whopper-scented perfume.

Here’s why you shouldn’t get over-excited, though: It’s debuting on April 1, a date traditionally better known as “[That Day When You Lie to People](http://greatideas.people.com/2014/04/01/april-fools-day-pranks-foods-jokes/).” BK Japan is attempting to brand the day “Whopper Day,” so … we wish them the best with that.

Should it actually come into existence, the Whopper perfume — which is dubbed “Flame-Grilled” and comes with an actual Whopper burger — will join such [illustrious scented products](http://greatideas.people.com/2015/01/23/girl-scout-cookie-yankee-candle/) as [Pizza Hut perfume](http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/12/06/pizza-scented-perfume-for-100-lucky-pizza-hut-fans/) and [this candle](http://www.nstperfume.com/2013/11/27/white-castle-candle-to-benefit-autism-speaks/) that smells like White Castle.

If you really want to smell like a [fast food restaurant](http://greatideas.people.com/2014/07/07/best-worst-fast-food-america/), there’s a simple and cheap way to do so: Work at one, or even hang out there for a few minutes. That will really provide an _eau de grease_ for mere pennies.
