The Pope will address the U.N. General Assembly on Sept. 25, meet with U.N. leadership and participate in a town hall meeting with U.N. staff, according to a [statement](http://www.un.org/sg/offthecuff/index.asp?cuff=3 "undefined") issued Wednesday by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s office. “His Holiness Pope Francis’ visit will inspire the international community to redouble its efforts to achieve human dignity for all through ensuring greater social justice, tolerance and understanding among all of the world’s peoples,” the Secretary General’s statement says. Pope Francis’ visit to the U.N. will come one day after he is [scheduled to address Congress](http://time.com/3697386/pope-francis-congress/ "undefined") in Washington, D.C.
