Carney will leave his post at CNN, where he is a commentator, and begin with Amazon on Monday as senior vice president for Worldwide Corporate Affairs, _Politico_ reports. Carney will split his time between the D.C. office and the company’s Seattle headquarters, and he will report directly to Jeff Bezos. He’s not the only former Obama confidante to head to Silicon Valley.
