Kanye West is following in the very successful footsteps of his wife, Kim Kardashian.
Over the weekend, West discussed a video game he is creating based on his recent single “Only One,” a collaboration with Paul McCartney that pays tribute to his mother Donda, who died of complications from surgery in 2007.
“It’s my mother going through the gates of heaven,” he said in a Feb. 20 interview with Power 105.1’s morning show The Breakfast Club. “We’ve been working on it for like six months.”
In a statement about the single, West said, “My mom was singing to me, and through me to my daughter.”
