T he 2015 Oscar nominations were announced Thursday, and naturally, the Internet is buzzing with all kinds of excitement, commentary and criticism . Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel led the nominations with nine each, and Boyhood also fared well with seven total nominations.
Many of the nominees—mostly actors and musicians—have taken to Twitter to express their delight and gratitude. (The Lego Movie director Phil Lord, who many feel was snubbed, also took to Twitter to react in a totally awesome way , even though he wasn’t nominated.)
