An era ended Thursday night when Stephen Colbert signed off on Comedy Central for the last time, but as he and dozens of celebrity guests sang from the stage, “We’ll Meet Again.”
Colbert did one last round of his segment The Word, cheated death against “Grimmy” the grim reaper and finally flew off in Santa’s sleigh.
Now all that’s left to do is start the countdown until Colbert takes over for David Letterman in 2015.
