Peter Berg, who directed Wahlberg in last year’s _Lone Survivor_ and served as executive producer on the beloved _Friday Night Lights_ television series, will helm the project, _Deadline_ reports. The original show followed former astronaut Steve Austin who, after a terrible accident, is saved by doctors who replace his legs, right arm and left eye with bionic parts. Austin then, naturally, becomes a secret agent. The hugely popular program even generated a spinoff: _The Bionic Woman_.
