Hall will be [seen on Broadway](http://bigstory.ap.org/article/michael-c-hall-be-hedwig-and-angry-inch "undefined") in heels and a miniskirt from Oct. 16 after the actor accepted the role of German transsexual rocker Hedwig in the popular musical _Hedwig and the Angry Inch_, the Associated Press reports. Hall is best known for playing a funeral director in HBO’s _Six Feet Under_ and a serial killer in _Dexter_, both of which earned him Emmy nominations. Most recently, he joined Marisa Tomei, Toni Collette and Tracy Letts on stage this spring in Will Eno’s play _The Realistic Joneses._ The lead role in _Hedwig and the Angry Inch_ is currently being played by Andrew Rannells of _The Book of Mormon_ fame and who also starred in the HBO series _Girls_.
