Now that you’ve burned your way through Orange Is the New Black and House of Cards, there’s a new drama for you to binge-watch — and it’s not on Netflix. Amazon’s Transparent, about a newly out transgender woman and her family, premiered in February during Amazon Studios’ pilot season, but now all 10 episodes will become available for streaming on Sept 26.
From director Jill Soloway (Six Feet Under), Transparent stars Jeffrey Tambor as Moira (previously known as Mort) while Gabby Hoffman, Jay Duplass and Amy Lendecker play her three adult children. “My whole life I’ve been dressing up like a man,” Moira tells one of her daughter, who’s a little confused about the transition her mother is starting. “This is me.”
