Mortal Kombat X’s title was announced on Twitter by the series’ co-creater Ed boon on Twitter. The name of the game is "Mortal Kombat X" — Ed Boon (@noobde) [June 2, 2014](https://twitter.com/noobde/status/473449233350406144?ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw "undefined") The game is slated for a 2015 release, according to a new trailer, for [the Xbox One](http://www.cnbc.com/id/101723237 "undefined"), the Xbox 360, Playstations 3 and 4, PC. Warner Bros.
