Saturday Night Live has already produced some pretty excellent Girls parodies, but this week, they had an advantage: the show’s creator and star Lena Dunham just happened to be hosting SNL for the first time.
So, naturally, we were treated to a fresh spoof of the buzzy HBO show, currently in its third season. The parody, simply titled “Girl,” takes Lena Dunham’s character, Hannah, and her boyfriend Adam back to biblical times, imagining how their meandering lives would play out among the forbidden fruit and talking snakes of the Garden of Eden, instead of the coffee shops and warehouse parties of Brooklyn.
Turns out, that life would be pretty hilarious.
