Australian police have charged a man for robbing a second hand shop wearing nothing but a G-string, his loot, a batman mask and cape, a batman doll and, bizarrely (more bizarrely?) a “Bride to Be” sash. The Newcastle store’s closed circuit cameras captured the man dressed in his freshly burgled batman costume parading around the backyard for 40 minutes after the heist. All the footage needs is an overlay of the 1960s Batman television show theme (internet, I’m looking at you). The 35-year-old local man was quickly apprehended by Australian police, but no word from Commissioner Gordon on the Bat’s secret identity.
