Check out how the short stack stacks up before you celebrate National Pancake Day

It’s National Pancake Day, which means free buttermilk pancakes at IHOP. If you’re watching your figure, pancakes aren’t exactly the go-to for a well-balanced breakfast. But you may be surprised which pancakes are more caloric. Those Harvest Grain ‘N Nut pancakes aren’t necessarily better for you than buttermilk. And, unsurprisingly, you should probably stay away from the NY Cheesecake pancakes.

Here are IHOP’s World Famous Pancakes ranked from worst to sort-of-better-for-you (serving size, 4 pancakes):

NY Cheesecake: 1100 calories

Cinn-A-Stacks®: 890 calories

Strawberry Banana: 760 calories

Harvest Grain ‘N Nut® w/Blueberry: 740 calories

Harvest Grain ‘N Nut® w/Cinnamon Apple: 730 calories

Harvest Grain ‘N Nut® w/Strawberry: 730 calories

Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Cakes: 720 calories

Chocolate Chip, Buttermilk Cakes: 710 calories

Double Blueberry: 690 calories

Harvest Grain ‘N Nut® w/Butter: 680 calories

Harvest Grain ‘N Nut® w/o Topping: 640 calories

Original Buttermilk: around 600 calories (servings at IHOP are three or five pancakes)

Whole Wheat w/Bananas: 570 calories
