Cox’s good news comes after a shake-up on the production: Over the weekend, showrunner Drew Goddard (_Buffy the Vampire Slayer_, _Lost_) left his post and was replaced by Steven S. DeKnight, though he will remain an executive producer as he reportedly focuses on the _Sinister Six_ spin-off from _The Amazing Spider-Man_. _Daredevil_ is one of four solo Marvel superhero properties the streaming service will serialize. Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage will then team up and join him for the Netflix miniseries _The Defenders,_ [Variety reports](http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/charlie-cox-to-star-in-daredevil-tv-series-for-marvel-and-netflix-1201194139/ "undefined").
