Netflix Might Revive Wet Hot American Summer

It’s been 13 years, but summer camp is still in session.

The 2001 cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer may return as a 10-episode Netflix series with much of the original cast, Variety reports.

The movie’s creators, David Wain and Michael Showalter, would executive produce the series and reunite many of the now-A-list stars who appeared in the film more than a decade ago.

Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Janeane Garofalo, Christopher Meloni, Michael Ian Black, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Lo Truglio and others made up the original cast.

Despite their current ages, the cast would once again play teenagers, and the production would likely take an Arrested Development-style approach to filming. For its 2013 revival on Netflix, the former Fox sitcom shot many of its characters separately for short periods of time to accommodate schedules.

Netflix declined to comment to Variety.
