It's Ryan Gosling, and she took my wrist and she wouldn't let go of it and it got tighter and tighter. And she was like I'm gonna kill you if you don't take me to Detroit to meet Ryan Gosling. [ MUSIC ]. For Lost River, though Gosling is hiding firmly out of view, he's not starring in but directing a surreal tale of urban decay. This is his chance to prove that he's more than just a pretty face and a good actor, but an art house heavy weight who can cut it behind the lens. Ryan, Ryan. there, there he is down there.
